Since the demonetization, we have seen various efforts of the government to promote digital payments. Numerous schemes were not only initiated, but were also implemented effectively. Time and again, different winners are announced, so as to keep people motivated.

The government announced an approximate amount of Rs. 8.3 crore till now. The 100th day of the Lucky Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana schemes reached its final day on the 9th of April of this year. The following explains a lot about various governments’ schemes in order to ease digital transactions in India.

On the Final Day Of Lucky Grahak and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana:

On this day, Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India got six fortunate victors. There were three champs in the customer class that won Rs 1 crore, Rs 50 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. They utilized Rupay Debit Cards for making digital payments of not as much as Rs 1,000.

Three prizes worth Rs 50 lakh, Rs 25 lakh and Rs 12 lakh went to traders. At Rashtrapati Bhawan on Sunday, i.e., on the 9th of April 2017,this mega draw took place so as to choose the lucky winners of the Grahak Yojana and Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana. Mr. Narendra Modi will felicitate these winners on April 14th, 2017 at Nagpur, on the event of Ambedkar Jayanti.

100 Days of the Two Most Important Digital Schemes:

These two schemes propelled on December 25, 2016. NPCI, i.e. the National Payment Corporation of India implemented these two Yojana. Under the plan, daily, weekly as well as monthly rewards, up to the worth of Rs 256 crore are dispensed to more than 16 lakh residents in these 100 days for successfully implementing cashless transactions.

Throughout these 100 days, everyday approximately 15,000 consumers have met all the requirements for aggregate cash prize of Rs 1.5 crore in all the 100 cities. Furthermore, we also have 14,000 weekly winners, both shoppers as well as dealers. They have also received an aggregate cash prize of over Rs 8.3 crore consistently.

Top Five States With The Maximum Number of Winners:

While announcing the winners, President Pranab Mukherjee encouraged all Indian natives to extend their support to fulfill the mission of a cashless India. Undoubtedly, India is on the path of a digital revolution, where it needs co-operation from all the citizens.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Delhi and Karnataka have developed as the main five states/UTs with most extreme number of winners. The profiles of all the winners uncovers that they are spread over the various occupations.

These includes salaried representatives, housewives, ranchers and every day wage workers. While greater part of the champs were in the age gathering of 21 to 30 years. There are additionally countless winners also, who are over 60 years old.

The Various Winners and Their Associated Banks:

A Central Bank of India client has won a prize of Rs 1 crore by doing a transaction worth of Rs. 1590. He won this prize under these two special plans to promote digital payments. In the consumer area, the primary prize of Rs 1 crore went to a client of Central Bank of India. While the second prize of Rs 50 lakh went to a Bank of Baroda client.

A client of Punjab National Bank is the champ of third prize of Rs 25 lakh. All the three clients had done exchanges utilizing their RuPay charge cards. We do not yet know the names of all the three winners. The draw just showed their transaction numbers. Authorities will coordinate these numbers with card details to distinguish the champs.
