When are the bookings slated?

Rohit Suri, Managing Director & President, Jaguar Land Rover India Ltd (JLRIL), said:
“Since its launch in October last year, Jaguar F-PACE has captured hearts and minds of Jaguar fans as well as its distinguished & discerning customers spread across India. The launch of the locally manufactured F-PACE signifies another milestone in our continued commitment and efforts towards ‘Make in India’ policy of the Government of India.”
So, will it combat the GST pressure?
This move will definitely combat the pressure created by the GST. As per the government the makers of sports utility vehicles and luxury car makers will be charged 25% cess as compared to 15%. Thus raising a red flag to its production capacity and creating a dent to Make In India initiative.
In the end, we would like to conclude that though the government considers buying luxurious goods as sin, India is structurally changing.
