After Litecoin, Ripple price (XRP) is picking up the market and is aiming at $1. Ripple, which was launched in the year 2012 recently lost its fourth position in terms of market cap is now making a comeback.
Another Cryptocurrency that may attract Investors
Ripple since its launch hasn’t been that much successful as a cryptocurrency but in the recent months has gained the ground. With the rise of Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies like Litecoin, Ethereum and ripple are also picking up.
On July 01, 2017, Ripple was trending at 0.262 USD with a market cap of USD 100, 650, 827, 37 has come a long way. As of December 13, 2017, Ripple was trending at $0.470 with a market cap of $18,245,478,658 USD (as per coinmarketcap).
It is the first time since last 6 months that Ripple has crossed $0.300 mark and is expected to do good. This is certainly the best performance of Ripple that slipped to the fifth place in terms of market cap followed by IOTA.
On top is the Bitcoin while on second is Ethereum and on third is Bitcoin Cash. The fourth spot was gained by Litecoin which has recently gained the attraction of all with its sudden rise. In the year 2017, Litecoin gained 7000% and is continuing to grow.
Ripple Price Aimed to Cross $1 Mark
Though ripple fumbled in the recent months with some rise and fall but in the last few days it is doing quite well. If things go well it can cross the $1 barrier within few days. Cryptocurrency market has certainly gained the eyes of people all over the world. Apart from professional investors, commoners are also taking interest.
Litecoin grew at 7000% rate and is certainly a bastion for investors. Ripple is new and is attracting the investors. If it goes as of present then ripple will give tough competition to Litecoin, Ethereum and of course Bitcoin.
